Gladys Walton's 10-Year Love Affair with Al Capone.
It started while she was filming "The Untameable" in 1922, just before her 20th Birthday. Al was just 23.
On their first date (that lasted a week) Al took her to his West Coast Hideaway known as "Fortress West" and dubbed her
"The Queen of Two Bunch Palms".
A Love Affair that survived ten years despite her career and his running "The Outfit" in Chicago.
John's mother started to relate stories to him of her ten-year love affair with Al Capone on his sixteenth birthday. There was always a special light in her eyes and a glow on her face when she recalled her times with him.
The remarkable resemblance between John's grandson and Al Capone, just added to the mystery!
According to John's mother's wishes, it will remain a mystery.

HER SON, JOHN,
TELLS ALL . . .
Gladys was just sixteen years old when Universal Studios put her under contract!
She was an instant STAR, and her initial $50 a week quickly became $500 a week at a time when the ordinary man was only making $45 a week.
